I just discovered through my mom that my dad strived and slogged his years out to give us a good education and money to spend because he says that we’re spendthrifts, pay for our education with their savings instead of their CPF just because they are worried about our future, about how we might need to be frugal as part of our monthly wages will be needed to return them their favour, want us to be a better man and of course, only want the best for us in every little possible ways. I could actually tell all of these, every day, from waking up at 5.30am, leaving home at 6.30am to coming home as late as 10pm, to setting Sundays for us, to the way you would always look at us; you love us so much more than any other. And as I typed this, tears are filling up in my eyes fast. But daddy, and mummy, that, only make me proud of you guys and I love you both so much no words could ever ever portray.
